Doc's Auto Clinic - Auto Mechanic Shop

The Doctor Is In… Get to Know Doc's Auto Clinic in Steamboat Springs

At Doc's Auto Clinic, fixing vehicle’s is in our family’s blood, and it’s where we excel. In fact, our auto repair shop is the culmination of the work of generations of car people. Owner Brian Small’s grandfather owned the first Ford dealership in Washington, D.C., exposing Brian to the automotive industry at a young age. Brian went on to work at a gas station during high school, which was operated by a family who taught him the value of kindness and customer care. It was also here that Brian first learned how to fix cars. Later, when Brian established Doc’s Auto Clinic, it was because he felt car repair was an honest way to make a living. Forty-five years down the road, customer service and all manner of auto repair continue to be Brian’s areas of expertise.

Doc's Auto Clinic carries forward a family tradition of honesty, coupled with extensive training.

Bringing the Small Family Legacy to Steamboat Springs

In 1996, Brian and his family moved to Steamboat Springs, and he opened Doc's Auto Clinic in 1997. The shop soon outgrew its original location in a strip mall by Steamboat Motors, and we moved to our own building at Copper Ridge. This enabled us to install new equipment, including a heavy-duty alignment rack and four-post lifts. Since first opening our doors, it’s been our goal to provide the best auto care in Steamboat Springs. That’s why we buy state-of-the-art equipment, hire ASE-certified mechanics, and use only quality parts. Really, how can you expect to be the best if you don’t invest in the best? At Doc's Auto Clinic, we work hard to bring you the best automotive service possible.

“My approach to business is to take care of my customers better than anyone else they have been to for automotive repairs.” - Brian Small, Owner
